Here is an opportunity to work with the area’s top arborists, specializing in taking care of trees, not just cutting them down. We have a bunch of work lined up, and we are growing to meet the demand. We have contracts with cities, plus residential and commercial work, and we don’t have enough people to get the jobs done. We would love to add experienced arborists to our team if they are the right fit. We even have a $5,500 sign-on bonus for experienced climbers. We have a $1,500 sign-on bonus for experienced bucket operators. But we are hiring on all levels, and we provide training and an opportunity for advancement through our career ladder. This is full time, year round. We will hire someone without experience, but we are pretty particular about who we hire. We are looking for mature, responsible adults. We don’t hire people that are on drugs, on probation, or color code. We require all applicants to have a driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean drug test, and background check. But mostly, we are looking for certain character traits that will make someone a good fit with the culture we have.
We don’t want to put a bunch of knuckleheads in a client’s yard or behind the wheel of a truck, but probably the bigger issue is that we have a solid core of guys and girls now that don’t want to be around drama, drugs, or immorality. Pay is going to be based off experience level and credentials, and we would love to go over the details on that; but our lowest paid inexperienced ground hand makes $20 an hour, plus bonuses and loads of benefits. Bonuses include safety bonus, performance bonus, property protection bonus, Christmas bonus, and more. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, health insurance, retirement (IRA) with company match, on call pay, team building experiences (fishing trips, paintball, climbing competitions, picnics, Christmas party, etc…).
