Our certified arborists responded quickly to an emergency tree removal in Fairhope, AL, safely removing hazardous trees and protecting the property from further damage.

Our team responded to an emergency tree failure in Theodore, Alabama. The tree failed because of bark inclusion, a structural defect where bark becomes trapped between stems, creating a weak attachment point. Our team safely removed the damaged tree and secured the area to prevent further hazards.

Our team spent the week installing a new supplemental support system in this massive live oak, ensuring its long-term health and safety. We removed the previously installed, improperly placed cable and replaced it with a professionally engineered setup: 1 high-strength cable and 24 brace rods. This upgrade enhances the tree’s stability and protects the surrounding property.

This friendly challenge not only sharpens our skills but also brings our team closer together. Great job to everyone who participated and helped make it happen!

We wrapped up the year in true holiday spirit at the CFTC Annual Christmas Party! 🎄✨ It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, great food, and festive fun as we celebrated our hardworking team and the accomplishments of the past year. Grateful for the camaraderie and memories shared—here’s to another amazing year ahead!

Our team recently tackled a low-hanging branch in Fairhope that sat just 4’11” off the ground too low for comfortable foot traffic. By installing a custom prop and using an Air Spade to carefully work around significant roots, we were able to reposition the support with minimal impact. The result? The limb was raised nearly two feet, improving clearance while preserving the tree’s health. Even basketball players can appreciate the extra headroom well, some of them!

After 9 incredible years with Chris Francis Tree Care, Donavan Ballard is moving on to a new chapter in his career with the City of Mobile’s Urban Forestry team. Donavan played a key role in growing our Plant Health Care division and was a valued part of our crew. We celebrated his contributions with a Going Away party on Friday, and while he will be greatly missed, we’re excited to see all he’ll accomplish in his new role. Best of luck, Donavan!
