We wrapped up the year in true holiday spirit at the CFTC Annual Christmas Party! 🎄✨ It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, great food, and festive fun as we celebrated our hardworking team and the accomplishments of the past year. Grateful for the camaraderie and memories shared—here’s to another amazing year ahead!

Our team recently tackled a low-hanging branch in Fairhope that sat just 4’11” off the ground too low for comfortable foot traffic. By installing a custom prop and using an Air Spade to carefully work around significant roots, we were able to reposition the support with minimal impact. The result? The limb was raised nearly two feet, improving clearance while preserving the tree’s health. Even basketball players can appreciate the extra headroom well, some of them!

After 9 incredible years with Chris Francis Tree Care, Donavan Ballard is moving on to a new chapter in his career with the City of Mobile’s Urban Forestry team. Donavan played a key role in growing our Plant Health Care division and was a valued part of our crew. We celebrated his contributions with a Going Away party on Friday, and while he will be greatly missed, we’re excited to see all he’ll accomplish in his new role. Best of luck, Donavan!

Big thanks to everyone who helped decorate, ride along, and clean up at the 2024 Daphne Christmas Parade! Your time and effort made it a joyful and festive event for our community. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season!

A huge congratulations to our Safety Director, Cheyenne Voigt, for winning 1st place in the Female Division at the Alabama State Tree Climbing Competition! Her skill, strength, and dedication make us proud every day. Way to go, Cheyenne!

Chris Francis Tree Care was proud to attend the 2024 Alabama Urban Forestry Association Conference! This annual event brings together professionals dedicated to advancing urban forestry across the state. It was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and stay up to date on best practices and innovations in tree care and urban canopy management. Always an honor to be part of Alabama’s growing urban forestry community!

Our Plant Health Care team stepped up to replace a light in one of our trees, and Cheyenne knocked it out of the park! With precision and care, she made sure the job was done safely and efficiently. Great work, Cheyenne  your dedication keeps us glowing strong!

We were honored to take part in Saluting Branches at the National Cemetery in Mobile a meaningful day of professional tree work dedicated to honoring our nation’s veterans. Though many volunteers had already departed before the photos, we’re grateful to everyone who contributed their time and skills. Thank you to all who made this event possible. It was a privilege to serve those who served.

It was a true honor to work on this beautiful old live oak. 🌳 With great care and respect, our team helped preserve its structure and health so it can continue to thrive for generations to come. Trees like this are living history, and we’re proud to play a part in their stewardship.
